The bond between military veterans is a tight and long-lasting one, especially when fellow vets need help. While checking out websites of Milwaukee music venues, I came across a listing for a Warrior Songs fundraiser being held at Linneman’s Riverwest Inn. I hoped use my photo skills to provide images that the bands and the organization could use to spread the word on Warrior Songs’ mission.

Warrior Songs, like similar non-profit, non-government organizations across the country, seeks to provide healing through the creative arts to veterans enduring mental/physical hardships related to their military service. Headed by founder, Iraq War veteran, singer/songwriter Jason Moon, the Madison, WI-based group has made numerous positive impacts in veterans’ lives and seeks to continue and expand its efforts, namely through producing CDs/online music written and performed by affected vets and hosting creative arts retreats.
